Who We Are

Wondrwell is a publication of Aeranda Studios (“we,” “us,” “our”). Our website address is https://wondrwell.com. Aeranda Studios is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

What This Policy Covers

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit Wondrwell, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to https://wondrwell.com and related Aeranda Studios properties.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly (for example, when you email us or, if enabled, leave a comment), information collected automatically when you browse (such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view), and information collected by the third-party services described below, such as analytics, embedded content, and affiliate networks.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

(If comments are turned off on your site, delete this section.)

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies, for your convenience, so you do not have to re-enter them next time. These last year.

If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When an administrator logs in, we set cookies to save login information and screen display choices.

In addition, the third-party services described below (analytics, embedded content, and affiliate networks) may set their own cookies in your browser. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings.

Analytics

We use analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. These tools may set cookies and collect information like your approximate location, device, browser, and the pages you view, generally in aggregate. We use [name the tool you actually use, for example Google Analytics; or delete this section if you use none]. You can opt out of many analytics cookies through your browser settings or the provider’s own opt-out tools.

Affiliate Links

Wondrwell uses affiliate links. When you click certain links and make a purchase or booking, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. The affiliate networks and merchants we work with may set cookies in your browser to attribute that activity to us. This does not influence what we recommend. We do not receive your payment or card details from these purchases; those are handled directly by the merchant. For how our recommendations are made, see our editorial standards page.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, and posts) from services such as YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website.

These providers may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that service.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us operate the site (hosting, analytics, spam detection, affiliate networks, and the embedded-content and social providers described above), and where we are required to by law. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely, so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on the site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To make a request, email [email protected].

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom (GDPR and UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. [Confirm the legal basis for processing and the controller’s place of establishment against your Aeranda Studios registration before publishing.]

If you are a California resident (CCPA and CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

[Governing law and the jurisdiction under which Aeranda Studios is established should be confirmed here against your registration. This is the section most worth having reviewed, given the cross-border setup.]

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Because some of our service providers operate internationally, your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. [Confirm cross-border transfer language against your registration jurisdiction.]

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
